French Summer Camp

For students aged 12–17, the Antibes summer camp is an excellent way to learn the French language while socialising with other teenagers from around the globe.

Suitable for beginners or more experienced linguists, students can immerse themselves in French life and culture whilst learning the language and taking part in the varied group activities on offer.

Beginner start dates are: 21/06/26 – 22/08/26. The last start date is 16/08/26.

The school provides supervision during lessons, activities and free time. Students aged 12 are supervised full time but students 13 and older can explore unsupervised during free time. For those 15 and over, students are given freedom (given parental consent) to discover the beautiful city of Antibes independently during the evening.

This course is Sunday arrival and Saturday departure with the course at the school running from Monday to Friday. Students can book for 1 week, 2 weeks or more.

Dates and Prices

Antibes is a sunny city located along the Cote d’Azur between Cannes and Nice. It blends history, culture and a coastal charm. With plenty to explore you can wander round local markets, walk along ancient city walls and visit the Picasso museum. The has a natural buzz in the harbour and on the streets with all the hallmarks of everyday life on the French Riviera, making Antibes a place to explore, learn, and enjoy the atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast.

Language Course

The language course comprises 20 lessons of 45 minutes length each, which use an active teaching method to foster young students’ enthusiasm for learning.  The school caters for all abilities from beginners to more advanced French speakers. The tuition is very much practice oriented, you will participate in group sessions alongside other students of a similar level, with lessons focused on improving all aspects of the language, speaking listening, reading and writing.  These morning lessons consist of a combination of traditional classes & more interactive oral activities, prioritising a fun environment that is conducive to you gaining confidence in your oral language skills.

There is also an option to upgrade to 25 lessons per week for a supplement. Please note that this is not suitable for complete beginners.

During the afternoon there is a varied programme of supervised leisure activities, visits and excursions to introduce you to French culture, sports and lifestyles.

You will be given an assessment on the first morning before lessons to place you in the group most suited to your ability level. Classes have an international flavour and a lively feel because they are grouped by ability not nationality.

On the first day of your camp, there will be a welcome meeting where you will receive a detailed weekly programme of activities.  Activities are offered each afternoon following language lessons.
