For students aged 13–17, a summer camp is the perfect opportunity to spend time in Spain learning and enjoying the great variety of activities provided by the language school.
The school provide supervision whilst enabling young people the chance to discover this fantastic city, learn the language the experience the culture.
This course is Sunday to Saturday departure and runs from the 6th of July to the 2nd of August. The last possible start date is the 27th July for one week.

As Spain’s second-most populous city, Barcelona is home to 1.6 million residents and is the fifth most densely populated urban area in the European Union. Renowned for landmarks like the iconic Sagrada Familia, Barcelona also boasts must-see attractions such as Park Güell, Casa Batlló, the Gothic Quarter, Camp Nou, and a multitude of other captivating sites.
Located in the Dreta de l’Eixample of Barcelona, the language school is only a block away from Gaudi’s Casa Batlló and surrounded by popular shopping streets. The school is housed in a unique historic building that is gated off from the public. Fully modernised inside, it boasts 18 bright classrooms with smart boards, air conditioning, and a computer room as well as indoor and outdoor student common areas. The school is wheelchair accessible and has a lift.
The course includes 20 lessons of 50 minutes length each, which concentrate on learning and actively using Spanish. The school caters for all abilities from beginners to more advanced Spanish speakers. The tuition is very much practice oriented, you will participate in group sessions alongside other students of a similar level, with lessons focused on improving all aspects of the language; speaking listening, reading and writing. There are 4 classes per day, and these take place during the morning.
You will be given a written assessment before you travel and a speaking assessment on the first morning before lessons in order to place you in the group most suited to your ability level. Classes have an international flavour and a lively feel because they are grouped by ability not nationality.
This course is designed for students who wish to improve their Spanish, meet new people and have some free time to participate in Spanish culture and life in Barcelona.
The school organise a varied programme of supervised leisure activities, visits and excursions to introduce you to Spanish culture, sports, games and lifestyles in both the afternoon and the evening.

There are also 3 workshops per week focused on self-improvement and real-life problems such as confidence in public speaking, cooking, sustainability, and intercultural communication tricks.
The school also organise an excursion at the weekend for students staying longer than one week as well as a day at the beach. This can be somewhere within the local area such as Tarragona, Girona or Sitges.
For students looking for a truly authentic taste of Spanish life in Barcelona, what better than a stay in host accommodation? Our carefully selected Spanish hosts introduce the Spanish way of life and while mealtimes are a chance to sample delicious regional specialities while speaking Spanish in a real-life setting. Host accommodation is situated within 50 minutes’ total journey time of the school. Hosts provide half-board accommodation (breakfast & evening meal) from the Sunday before the course starts to the Saturday after it finishes. Subject to availability, an extra day at either end of a trip may be available on request to accommodate flight dates.
Special dietary requirements can be accommodated, some of which have a small supplement.
Students also have the option of staying in one of the school shared apartments with other international students in single room or the residence in a studio room. This is on a self-catered basis and the minimum age is 18.
Return transfers are included with accommodation as part of the summer camp in Barcelona.
Without accommodation transfers are not included, however, we can advise on public transport in the city.
