Discover Blue Stamp Travel's range of A-level French revision courses
Our A-level Revision Courses are individually tailored to give students the skills, subject knowledge and confidence they need for exam success. The courses combine intensive class tuition with individual and/or small-group sessions dedicated to elements of the syllabus.
The core of any A-level French revision course in France is an intensive language course, typically 20 lessons, at one of our fully accredited partner language schools. In addition to this, students receive five or more 1:1 tutorials on topics of their choice. This gives students control over their learning and the opportunity to target the areas where they need to make most progress.
Group lessons cover general vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening, reading and writing. Students are assigned to groups at their level based on a short online test taken before travelling. Tutorials and 1:1 lessons cover any topic of the student’s choice, from grammar and vocabulary to speaking or in-depth study of a novel, film or curriculum topic.
The exact combination of group and 1:1 lessons may vary: please see specific course information pages.

Intensive French course: inspiring, fun lessons to boost fluency and confidence
French A-level revision: immersive, in-depth programme tailored to individual needs
Work and Study in France: real-life, authentic learning in the classroom and the workplace
French summer camp: fun, active summer adventures for teens and young adults
All our French summer camps include an intensive course of French lessons for all students. A typical week at Summer Camp will include around 20 hours of morning lessons from Monday to Friday. The lessons cover core skills and vocabulary in French, helping students improve their skills in speaking and listening, reading and writing. Students are placed in classes alongside other young people from around the world working at the same CEFR language level.
What are the key differences between a summer camp and an intensive language course?
It’s up to you! For some teenagers and young adults, a summer camp is a great way to enjoy a holiday on their own, developing independence and confidence as they prepare for life at university or in the world of work. Staying in a residence with other young people can be an exciting way to make new friends and be truly immersed in the experience.
For some families, though, a summer camp works best as a chance for teens and young adults to enjoy a busy programme of lessons and activities before returning to their family’s accommodation at the end of the day.
Whichever you choose, a French summer camp will be the experience of a lifetime.
Generally, a summer camp is suitable for students who already have some knowledge of French rather than complete beginners with no knowledge of the language at all. If you’re in any doubt, get in touch and we will be happy to advise.
At the other end of the spectrum, summer camps are a great opportunity for young people who are already confident French speakers to hone their skills alongside other advanced students.
At Blue Stamp Travel, we are committed to ensuring that everyone who travels with us is safe, secure and happy.
We only work with fully accredited summer camp providers that employ qualified staff and operate to the highest standards of safety and safeguarding. Activities are pitched at an appropriate level for the age and stage of the students involved and delivered by suitably qualified instructors.
If you choose a camp with host accommodation is provided only by experienced, trusted hosts with the necessary police clearance to accommodate under-18s in their homes. As a trusted adult who monitors students’ wellbeing, provides meals and ensures students are home safe and sound at the end of each day, your child’s host is another pair of eyes looking out for them away from home.
Summer camps are designed for students of all levels, from those with a basic understanding of the language right through to advanced speakers. Intensive immersion in the language allows learners at lower levels to make rapid progress. For advanced speakers, a summer camp is an opportunity to refine skills, expand horizons and unlock new potential.
Spending time away from home, making new friends and adapting to a new culture promotes independence, self-esteem and helps students prepare for life at university and beyond.
French Summer Camps welcome students from across the world, so they are a great opportunity to make friends from other cultures and meet people from very different backgrounds.
