A-level Spanish revision courses

Our A-level Revision Courses are individually tailored to give students the skills, subject knowledge and confidence they need for exam success. The courses combine intensive class tuition with individual and/or small-group sessions dedicated to elements of the syllabus.

Course structure and content

The core of any A-level Spanish Revision course is an intensive language course, typically 20 lessons, at one of our fully accredited partner language schools. In addition to this, students receive five or more 1:1 tutorials on topics of their choice. This gives students control over their learning and the opportunity to target the areas where they need to make most progress.

Group lessons cover general vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening, reading and writing. Students are assigned to groups at their level based on a short online test taken before travelling. Tutorials and 1:1 lessons cover any topic of the student’s choice, from grammar and vocabulary to speaking or in-depth study of a novel, film or curriculum topic.

Destinations

Few cities anywhere in the world can match the buzz and excitement of Barcelona, which draws millions of visitors every year. Despite its size and status, Madrid can still feel surprisingly intimate, especially in the quiet, narrow streets away from the main thoroughfares. Valencia‘s historic city centre is a maze of winding streets, with the spectacular City of Arts and Sciences a must-see on any visit. Of Spain’s other large cities, Malaga is always popular thanks to its attractive climate and rich history. As the home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Seville inspires everyone who visits.

For students who prefer smaller, more walkable cities, Alicante, Granada, Salamanca and San Sebastian are fantastic destinations: safe, welcoming and the ideal size to explore during a short visit. Alicante is a pretty city on the coast with a fantastic beach right on the doorstep – perfect for relaxing after a day’s lessons. Granada is much more historic and boasts the UNESCO World Heritage Alhambra Palace complex. Salamanca feels authentically Spanish and as home to one of Spain’s most prestigious universities, it enjoys a thriving cultural life. San Sebastian, on Spain’s north coast, is uniquely and proudly different, with exceptional opportunities for surfing and a culture of gastronomy renowned around the world.

All our partner language schools offer homestay accommodation with experienced, vetted local hosts, so students on A-level Spanish Revision courses enjoy a warm welcome and a home away from home.
