We are often asked to devise bespoke packages, whether for destinations that might be a little out of the ordinary or trips that allow for self-organised sections within the itinerary. Recently, we were asked to organise travel and accommodation for a group who were travelling to their twinned college in Brussels. Unfortunately, further down the line, the college in Brussels had to pull out of their arrangement with the college from the UK, leaving them with a lot of spare time to fill!
Blue Stamp were happy to step in and use our expertise in running and delivering inspiring educational trips to help all involved have a successful and enriching experience. Knowing trips from both the teacher and tour operator perspective, we were able to design a package that allowed for cultural immersion and educational experiences whilst also giving opportunities for free time to explore and take in the destinations from a more personal angle.
The Blue Stamp team got to work with offering tours and activity ideas to add to the group’s 7-day trip to Belgium, taking in the sights and activities that Brussels, Ghent, Bruges and Leuven have to offer. Students and staff were busy with visits to local castles, museums, and parliament buildings, as well as photo scavenger hunts, walking tours, and boat trips. In the evenings, they enjoyed group games and quizzes. All in all, an action-packed trip with plenty to keep everyone occupied.
