Seville

The Pearl of Andalucía, Seville is the fourth largest city in Spain and capital of the Andalusía region. Located in the south of Spain, the city sits on the Guadalquivir River and is one of the hottest regions in Spain due to its low elevation and proximity to the coast. After Barcelona and Marid, Seville is the most visited city in Spain by tourists drawn by its intricate Mudejar architecture including three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Cathedral, Archivo de Indias and the Royal Alcazar.

Alongside picturesque buildings, Seville is home to a lively cultural life. The famous art form of flamenco originates in the Andalusía region and is still performed today in tablaos. Performances feature powerful guitar playing, expressive dancing and singing. Traditionally, visitors will find that tapas plates are often complimentary with drinks purchased.
