Applications for the Turing Scheme for travel in 2026/27 are now open
The Turing Scheme has been an incredibly popular way to schools to secure funding to enable student travel within Europe and beyond. Since replacing the Erasmus+ scheme shortly after Brexit, the scheme has grown in popularity.
Whist schools, colleges and universities are responsible for applying and administering their applications to the DfE for Turing Scheme funding, Blue Stamp have supported applicants and delivered dozens of Turing projects over the recent years.

The UK government has confirmed that the UK will be rejoining the Erasmus scheme in 2027 but in the meantime we are delighted that students can benefit from the Turing Scheme for one more year.
The Turing Scheme allows schools to propose a project that involves travel abroad to provide opportunities for students that they may otherwise not be able to experience. This may be cultural, linguistic, environmental, or social. It can be linked to careers and work placements. The funding is available for schools, Further Education and Higher Education and covers, travel, living expenses and administration and can cover the staff required to deliver the trip.
It is worth noting that there is a limit of £50,000 per organisation in this application window which is a change from previous years.
As part of your application you will be required to demonstrate how individuals who are disadvantaged will be enabled to take part. This includes promotion of the opportunities and ensuring that any activities are adapted accordingly.
