Work Experience

For the ultimate immersive language experience, our Work Experience Abroad programme places students in week-long work experience placements in Alicante. The trips run twice annually, one with homestay and one with hotel accommodation. Students travel from a UK airport, accompanied by an experienced Blue Stamp Travel group leader who supports, encourages and guides them throughout their work experience placements.

Work and Study

Work and Study combines an intensive language course of 20 lessons with half-day work placements with local businesses. The pacy, interactive courses cover speaking and listening, reading and writing, with a focus on encouraging students to use Spanish with fluency and confidence.

Work placements generally last between two and three hours and usually take place in the afternoon. They are an opportunity to speak Spanish in a real-life environment and gain valuable transferable skills. Find out more about our placement categories and how placements are allocated.

Designed to be challenging and rewarding, Work and Study courses are available in Alicante, Granada, Salamanca and Valencia. Courses are offered all year round (subject to language school availability).

Au Pair and Study

An Au Pair and Study placement combines an intensive language course with an opportunity to live in a French household as an Au Pair. Typically, an Au Pair and Study placement lasts 12 weeks or more. To find out more and book your place, visit our Au Pair and Study page.
