Inspire your German learners with immersive German language courses

Immersive, Inspiring Language Learning

Transform your German school trip into a lasting learning experience by including language lessons at one of our carefully chosen partner language schools.

At a time when school trips to Germany are under increasing pressure from tighter timeframes and budgets, including a Spanish language course in your itinerary can be a great way to demonstrate the added value of your trip.

Teachers can request closed classes at language schools, giving you the freedom to specify the material and skills you want your students to cover. Advanced learners can explore topics of the A-level syllabus in depth, for example, while younger students can enjoy immersion in the target language which would be impossible given the limited amount of time allocated to MFL at home.

Destinations

Blue Stamp Travel works with leading language schools in Germany.

Berlin – instant name recognition, ‘bucket list’ sights and a fascinating history: Berlin has it all. Our two partner language schools are both located in the charming Prenzlauer Berg district, within easy reach of connections to explore everything Berlin has to offer.

  • Great for – coming face-to-face with the places that shaped so much of Twentieth Century history

Bamberg – utterly charming, beguiling and beautiful cathedral city in northern Bavaria. Fly to Munich or Nuremberg for direct onward train connections, then take a language course in this beautifully preserved historic city built on seven hills. The activity programme on offer makes the most of the stunning Franconian landscape on the doorstep, while exploring the cathedrals, churches and palaces that crown this UNESCO World Heritage destination.

  • Great for – a chance to see another side of Germany away from the big cities

Frankfurt – skyscrapers, river cruises, Goethe, galleries and green eggs. Frankfurt revels in its status as Germany’s financial hub, with opportunities to tour the European Central Bank and view the city from the top of a skyscraper. The birthplace of the modern German constitution, Frankfurt is an opportunity to engage with German history over the centuries – and have fun doing so!

  • Great for – easy connections from across the UK for busy itineraries

Hamburg – the ‘Venice of the North’ is always a hit with groups on language courses thanks to its lively atmosphere, variety of exciting activities and safe, walkable city centre. Our partner school is a stone’s throw from the Innenalster, and after lessons you can head out for boat tours of the Port of Hamburg, take in the sights from the Elbphilharmonie, tower over Miniatur Wunderland – or just stroll along the miles of rivers and canals that define this beautiful city.

  • Great for – an authentically German experience in a global city

Munich – proudly independent capital of the Freistaat Bayern, steeped in history, sausages and football. Groups love travelling to Munich for the language school just yards from Marienplatz, with visits to the BMW factory, Allianz Arena, Neuschwanstein Castle and the Deutsches Museum.

  • Great for – cultural heritage, high tech and schnitzel

Classroom enrichment, real-world experiences

Our partner language schools provide inspiring, enriching teaching to small groups in their attractive, modern premises, so your students enjoy attention, support and challenge throughout their stay. But language learning is never limited to the classroom, so your course can include activities where students experience using German in the real world, such as:

  • Market visits
  • Treasure hunts
  • Cultural activities such as singing, games, dance lessons and tours
  • Opportunities to meet and engage with local people, schools and businesses

Friendly local support and expertise

When you include a language course in your itinerary, you benefit from having a friendly local expert on hand in your destination city. Language school teachers give tours, organise activities to meet and speak to local people, and are always on hand to help guide, advise and support you. From advice on the best place to catch a bus to a local attraction to support with navigating local services in a major incident, your language school gives you the peace of mind that your students are in safe hands at all times while abroad.

Cost-effective trip planning

As many attractions and activities are raising prices, language lessons can be a cost-effective way of ensuring your students enjoy an immersive experience while keeping to a tight budget. Activities arranged by language schools are often priced competitively compared to commercial offerings, giving your students the chance to experience a broader range of activities.
