Breaking news! Blue Stamp Travel are now offering packages for school groups to Puy du Fou, the award winning theme park in the Vendée region of France!
This has been in the pipeline for a while and we’re incredibly excited to finally share it with you. Puy du Fou is a hidden gem, hugely popular in France but still relatively undiscovered by UK travellers. You can’t leave without being in awe!
A different kind of theme park
Forget rides and long queues for roller coasters. Puy du Fou offers a completely different theme park experience, taking visitors on an action-packed journey through French history across spectacular live shows, immersive experiences and beautifully recreated period villages.
Travel through over 2,000 years of history, from Roman gladiators and Viking warriors to medieval knights and Renaissance musketeers. It’s history and storytelling brought to life on a scale you have to see to believe.
Learning beyond the classroom
This trip is ideal for KS3 or KS4 students studying French, Drama, Performing Arts, Textiles, Music or History. Two free educational workshops are included for students in English or French demonstrating falconry or textiles giving students a taster of what goes on behind the scenes for such to create such a spectacular show.
The trip also gives groups the chance to explore the nearby city of Nantes, home to historic landmarks and the famous giant mechanical elephant, while coach groups can enjoy a stop in the beautiful medieval city of Rouen on their journey home. With accommodation just minutes from the park in nearby Les Herbiers and flexible meal options available, everything is taken care of for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Travel options
This four day package is available from April to November. Groups can choose to travel by air via Nantes or by coach with opportunities to stop in Nantes and Rouen.
